REGULATION DATED MOHARAM 5, 1410 CORRESPONDING TO AUGUST 7, 1989
SETTING THE FUNCTIONING PROCEDURES OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL (*)
The
Constitutional Council :
-
In view of the provisions of article 157, paragraph 2 of the Constitution.
- And in virtue of law n° 13-89 dated Muharam 5, 1410 corresponding to
August 7, 1989 relative to the electoral law.
- The presidential decree n° 89-43 dated April 4, 1989 relative to the
publication of the nominal composition of the Constitutional Council.
- And in virtue of the présidential decree n° 143-89 dated Muharam 5,
1410 corresponding to August 7, 1989 relative to rules governing the
organization of the Constitutional Council and the status of some its
members.
- After deliberation, adopts the regulations relative to its functioning
whose content is as follows :

RELATIVE TO MEMBERS OF THE
CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL

above mentioned regulations were amended and updated in the light of :
- The Constitution, adopted after the referendum of November 28, 1996 (reference
to article 167, paragraph 2).
- Ordinance n° 07-97 dated Shawal 27, 1417 corresponding to March 26,
1995 relative to the organic
law relative to the electoral system.
- The presidential decree n° 95-139 dated Shawal, 25, 1417, corresponding
to March, 26, 1995 relative to the publication of the nominal composition
of the Constitutional Council.

Dhou El Hidja 6, 1417 corresponding of April 13.1997.
