CONSTITUTIONAL REVISION

 Art. 71 – The President of the Republic and the absolute majority of the members of the National Assembly shall both have the initiative of constitutional revision.

 Art. 72 – The procedure of constitutional revision shall comprise two readings and two adoptions by an absolute majority of the members of the national Assembly separated by a two-month period.

Art. 73 – The bill shall be submitted to the sanction of the people by referendum.

Art. 74 – In case of adoption by the people, the draft constitutional revision shall be promulgated into constitutional law by the President of the Republic within eight days of the date of the referendum.
